Bennington Heights homes date from 1920s and 1930s (English Manor style residences) and from later 1940s and 1950s (Cottage style). Most properties on the perimeter of the neighbourhood back onto ravines. Generous lot sizes provide ample space for landscaped front yards and manicured gardens.

Mount Pleasant Cemetery, with its diverse trees and plants, and paved roads with little car traffic, is also a popular location to enjoy nature walks.
