21 Swanwick, a Heritage Church Conversion

21 Swanwick, a heritage church conversion into 10 luxury loft townhouses on a treed residential street in Upper Beach, Toronto, Canada

21 Swanwick Avenue Gothic Revival church was completed 1893 as Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. This beautiful building located in the leafy neighbourhood of Upper Beaches, on a quiet one way residential street near Gerrard Street and Main Street, was designated on May 28, 1984 as a heritage property. Building conversion to 10 multi-level lofts, after obtaining an approval of City Planning Division in May 2008, was completed in 2009.

The lofts vary in size from around 1600 sq.ft. to just over 2000 sq.ft., and are either three or two storey plus a basement.

Located on a quiet, residential, tree-lined street, this small hard loft development is in a convenient distance to public transport. Bus runs on Main Street, GO train station on Main is within walking distance, and it isn't far to the Main subway station. And the location has an excellent walk score .
