St. Clement's lofts in Toronto's Leslieville

The St. Clement's church in Leslieville would celebrate 100th anniversary of the start of construction next year. The building is an excellent example of the Gothic Revival style. It has served close to a century as an Anglican house of worship, but the times are changing, and a number of old churches have been already converted into living spaces or are being considered for such conversion. The St. Clement's is one of them, and St. Clement's lofts are now in a pre-construction sales phase.

The original church will contain 18 hard lofts, and additional 22 soft lofts will be constructed on the site as a 4-storey building, connected to the original church by a glass bridge. Hard loft sizes will range from a 766 sq.ft. one bedroom plus den unit to a 1339 sq.ft. two bedroom plus den suite. New construction soft lofts will range from 613 sq.ft. one bedroom unit to a 1310 sq.ft. two bedroom plus den.

Only a few hard lofts in the original building will have small balconies, while all units in the newly constructed part of the development will have either balconies, terraces, or garden patios.
